Our Story

The British Monarchist Society & Foundation operates with a unique structure: our charitable work is funded through our commercial activities. Income generated from membership programmes and related ventures allows us to invest directly in educational initiatives, charitable projects, and outreach efforts that support the Monarchy and its legacy. This model ensures that our mission is both sustainable and impactful.

Origins and Growth

Founded in 2011, the Society began as a volunteer organisation of monarchists, royalists, and supporters from across the United Kingdom and abroad. It was established as a thoughtful response to the growing tide of republican sentiment, providing a balanced and informed voice in support of the Crown. What started as a social network of like-minded individuals soon evolved into a respected movement, uniting members who believed in the enduring importance of the Monarchy to British life.

As the organisation grew, so too did its purpose. A fundamental review of its operations led to the creation of the Foundation, an affiliated charity, and the development of a world-class membership scheme. Together, these efforts transformed the Society from a small volunteer network into the trading arm and innovative think-tank of the British Monarchist brand.
