BMS Debuts New Logo for Queen’s Birthday
The British Monarchist Society has released a new logo celebrating the 90th Birthday of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. The logo was based on a design by Founder, Thomas Mace-Archer-Mills and will be featured on all events, literature and publications that the British Monarchist Society and Foundation will release during 2016. The logo incorporates the iconic crown used by the organisation with its dark Royal purple hew and platinum colouring. The elegant nine and zero have been designed in a scrolling format which represents continuity, fluidity and the ability of Her Majesty to adapt to and change with the times to further secure the institution of Monarchy for all of her people. The banner in front of the numbers represents Her Majesty by name, to which the year of her birth and the year of celebration fall below. The shadowing effect which is firmly rooted at the bottom of the image represents the steadfast dedication of The Queen and how she is very much the cornerstone of our Parliamentary Democracy. This shadow also symbolises the legend for which Her Majesty is, and the long span of her reign which has seen tremendous social and technological change since she acceded to the throne in 1952.
