YourBrexit Promotes BMSF Chairman Against Labour Leader Corbyn
Your Brexit has picked up on the story from the Daily Express which has featured BMSF Chairman, Thomas Mace-Archer-Mills, and his remarks in response to Labour Leader, Jeremy Corbyn’s, use of the fatal accident which killed Diana, Princess of Wales, to earn more support for the UK to become a republic.
Your Brexit states, “The 20th anniversary of Diana’s death is soon approaching which gives us the opportunity to remind ourselves how Corbyn used her death for point political scoring, similar to the Grenfell tragedy. The now Labour leader made the comments 20 years ago when he was a backbencher for the Labour party. Just days after the princess was killed in a car crash in Paris, Mr Corbyn told Daily Express: “I would be happy to join a Republican group. The mood of the country has changed dramatically since Diana’s death. A few years ago any of us who criticised the monarchy received shoals of letters in protest. Now it is part of normal everyday conversation.”
In response Thomas Mace-Archer-Mills, chairman of the British Monarchist Society & Foundation (BMSF) raged: “No matter what Mr Corbyn may think, it is not part of the normal and everyday conversation to criticise and debate the monarchy and its standing within the nation.
