The British Monarchist Society held a Service of Thanksgiving on 9 September 2015, the day on which Her Majesty, The Queen became the longest reigning Sovereign in British history. As there were no official public celebrations held to mark this occasion, the Society and it’s Founder/Chairman decided that an official event should mark this celebratory moment in time. Held at the Parish Church of Buckingham Palace, St. Martin-In-The-Fields was the setting for a wonderful and patriotic service dedicated to the long and devoted service of The Queen to her nation.
This Service of Thanksgiving was attended by BMS Patrons, BMS Members, Politicians (MPs and Lords, Ladies), nine of Her Majesties Realm High commissioners, Chelsea Pensioners, Celebrities and members of the general public. BMS members from Australia, Canada, America and several other countries attended – it was a true gathering of monarchist supporting a momentous occasion in Britain’s Royal history. The event was carefully orchestrated by the British Monarchist Society and St. Martins with the professional assistance of the Association of English Toastmaster who proved a special feel to the day.
